About Side Effects

Side Effects is a turn-based psychological thriller where every dose of medicine can determine your fate. This engaging game puts you in a sterile clinic with a rival patient, both facing trays of mysterious drugs and having to outlast each other. One wrong move and the lights will go out.

How to play Side Effects

Each turn, you'll be given several color-coded pills. Click on a pill to swallow it and maintain your breath. Some pills boost your Resistance bar, others deplete it, and they can be extremely dangerous. If your Resistance drops to zero, the game is over.
Between rounds, choose from quirky experimental items like mouth clips, vaccines, or test kits and tip the odds in your favor. Use them wisely to preview the effects of your medicine or thwart your opponent's next move.
